Proof of Transaction (PoTx) Based Traceability System for an Agriculture Supply Chain

Tracing the origin of product in agriculture supply chain offers food safety, identifying root cause hazard if any, information connectivity between participating stakeholders and to achieve customer trust. Blockchain is a distributed ledger technology whose transactions can be recorded decentralised immutable ledger. Several applications were developed last few years for blockchain based - traceability systems. Most work concentrated on retrieval system scalability. Still, promising research has not been seen with user identification methods. This presents access control mechanisms fill gap each participant. In addition, also proposes novel Proof Transaction (PoTx) consensus algorithm designed scalability reduced communication overhead computation power. A PoTx by choosing random validator from group transaction count enforce fault-tolerance system. The proposed method allows prevent identify adulteration while tracing product.
